Evolving for the need to reel in a lot of line fast, the circular porting allows for anglers to use their fingers to spin the reel rather than use the handles. This is the second lightest reel in the Tribs lineup, weighing in at 11 oz. Bearing type is selected by the customer. Ceramic Bearings are a higher performing bearing than the stainless, but tent to have a rumble when spinning. Stainless bearings still perform great but do not have the noise that the ceramics have.
